INTERVIEW WITH WASAKA BARI

Congratulations on the release of your second book, “The End”!

Ans: Thanks a bunch for your congratulations! Feeling such unbounded happiness and delight is a genuine moment that makes me wonder and feel appreciative for the wonderful things in life.

Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind the title and what readers can expect from this work?

Ans: I drew inspiration from my own experiences, realizing that sharing my stories and perspectives could potentially impact and resonate with others. Writing allows me to express myself creatively and connect with people on a deeper level. The concept of endings, and how they can often bring closure and new beginnings, fascinated me. I wanted to explore the emotions and experiences that come with reaching the end of something, whether it’s a relationship, a chapter in life, or even a book. The idea of the end can be both daunting and exciting, and I hope to capture this dichotomy in my work.

Balancing the demanding field of medicine with your passion for writing is no small feat. How do you manage your time effectively to excel in both pursuits?

Ans: You can only manage time if you track it correctly. I’m pursuing my MBBS, which teaches me not to wait; the quicker you start, the sooner you finish. So I keep track of both my writings as well as my medical studies, and it’s my family and friends who always support me.

“The End” is your second book. What lessons or insights did you gain from your first book that you applied to this one? How has your writing evolved since your debut?

Ans: Publishing my debut book was a significant milestone in my writing journey, providing me with invaluable experience and insights. As I embark on my second book, I’m confident that the lessons learned from my first publication will guide me towards even greater success.

Exploring diverse themes is often a hallmark of a versatile writer. Can you give us a glimpse into the themes or messages you aim to convey through “The End”?

Ans: This book aims to empower readers to embrace endings as catalysts for new beginnings, reminding them that even in the face of uncertainty, there is always a chance for a beautiful and fulfilling start.

Many aspiring writers struggle with self-doubt and writer’s block. What advice would you offer to them based on your own experiences in overcoming these challenges?

Ans: To all the writers out there, embrace the process of growth and allow yourself to make mistakes, for it is through these failures that you will learn and evolve as a writer. Remember, every word you write is a step towards honing your craft and discovering your unique voice. So, trust in your abilities, stay true to your roots, and let your words flourish into something beautiful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your insights and congratulations once again on your remarkable achievements!
